 THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
 1. Darin;, the 2erioC f as :-ay to September 1947 three lid 1t pumano baapen1x
 at intervals of about 3$ minutes were seen almost ovary ni ht bot.::oon 9 end
 10 p.m. local time.  The phenomena hero watched from the v.7 camp in Palthta
 Aral, about 50 km southwest of Tashkent (41013'<~69o?.5=g), Uabek S.S.f., in
 an east-southeasterly direction.
 ST. A da_kted ball of tine was seem first;  after about six seconds it reached the
 ape: of a loo -drawn out trajectory. 'Darin,: this time the ball h& developed
 a trail of fire.  Its color, which was bright red at the apex point, chanced
 i ' color from pale green to white.  Smoke trails, noises, or detonations were
 not noticed.
 3. The distance of the trajectory from the point of observation: was estimated at
 60 to 00 he. *  The trajectory ran approximately from southwest to r^rtC:east;
 its lee th to the apes, which was sloe 5,000 to 12,000 meters high, aas esti-
 mated at about 00 km. At the apex the ball of fire seemed about oned'itt6 the
